Since 2016, the series has grown to include artwork from Tom Whalen, Daniel Danger, Nic Delort, Killian Eng, and Owen Davey and we've had the pleasure of printing several dozen different designs. Happy to know that proceeds from the sales of these prints have been donated to the National Parks Service. Read more about the project and see all the designs at 59PS' website.

Jacob Bannon: The Perfect Organism

Jacob Bannon's "The Perfect Organism" is inspired by H.R. Giger's "Necronom IV". His legendary design went on to become the foundation of the ever-evolving creatures in the Alien film franchise. Jacob's interpretation is a take on the first versions of the skeletal monster (his favorite incarnation). It was created using collage, gouache, ink, and spray-paint on mylar and paper.

Marald Van Haasteren: Learning To Release

Self-motivated to create something extra extraordinary for a collaboration with Thomas Hooper, Marald challenged himself to make his largest and most complex color pencil drawing to date. Most of the artwork is drawn from his own collection of living and once-living things, altered and combined in his own mind. The title is all about trust in creative partnerships and we're so excited to be able to share this stage of the collaboration before Thomas has his wild way with it!

Ben LaFond: Promise Of The Glow

“There were days
and there were days
and there were days i know
when all we ever wanted
was to learn and love and grow
once we grew into our shoes
we told them where to go
walked halfway ‘round the world
on promise of the glow
stood upon a mountain top
walked barefoot in the snow
gave the best we had to give
how much we'll never know
we'll never know…”
- Robert Hunter / Jerry Garcia

This new print is intended to bring hope in whatever form the viewer needs. An offering to the sun at the end of a most brutal Winter on this first day of Spring.

A reminder to keep looking for the light, even when your whole world seems dark & scary.

The photo was taken through a hand made dichroic acrylic sculpture by Ben's friend John Foster (pictured below) and the model is friend of BRLSQ Vanessa Salour.

Minneapolis Map

After three long years of researching and illustrating buildings, landmarks, trees, parks, bikes, and buses, Mike Davis' high detailed, vectorized love letter to the city of Minneapolis is complete and ready to adorn your favorite wall. First Avenue, Nye's, Foshay Tower, Midtown Global Market, Love Power Church... they're all here. That's right - Mike chipped away at this illustrated map between October 2014 and August 2017. Over that course of time, several buildings and businesses featured on the map ceased to exist, but their memories are honored right here.

Burlesque was part of the team organizing Chroma Zone, Minnesota's first ever mural festival. Between September 7 - 14, 2019, 12 large outdoor murals were painted by local, national, and international artists in Saint Paul's Creative Enterprise Zone neighborhood. In conjunction with the festival, we produced and published art prints with six of the featured artists.

Cey Adams is a legendary graphic designer, graffiti artist, and fine artist straight out of New York. He has worked on iconic projects for The Beastie Boys, Smithsonian, Levi's, Dave Chappelle, and The Notorious B.I.G. Recently, he has been painting brightly colored, psychedelic LOVE murals across the U.S. and just blessed the exterior wall of Hampden Park Co-op with one that perfectly matches this new print.

Part of the original Burlesque and Life Sucks Die family, Ewok is an Orange County based artist who began writing graffiti in Minneapolis in the early '90s. Since then, he has solidified his status as an internationally known graffiti artist, traveling extensively and painting in several countries, including exhibiting artwork and mural projects with the Seventh Letter artist collective, in Los Angeles, Tokyo, Taiwan, Barcelona, and Seoul. More recently Ewok was one of several artists who completed Guinness Book of World Records’ longest continuous graffiti scroll in Dubai that was part of their UAE day celebration.

"Ewok Alley Cat" is the print we've been wanting to make with Ewok for years, showcasing his raw, one-of-a-kind lettering style. Don't sleep on this one!
