Eroded Sun is based on a painting (approximately the same size as our reproduction) Thomas created for Neurosis' Summer 2016 European tour, designed to be a complement to his artwork he created earlier in 2016 for Neurosis' "Fire Within Fires" album.
Neurosis holds a special place in Thomas' heart and that passion and pressure for him to create something monumental for the band shines through in the multiple layers and textures all hand-drawn, painted and sanded in his original artwork. No computers were used to enhance the original at all.
Our crew broke down these heavy textures into 14 layers, all expertly commited to paper by our man Ben LaFond, making this what Thomas calls one of his favorite prints he's ever released with us.
