Our very first painting with artist Meg Lionel Murphy, produced in conjunction with her "Interior Violence" show on display at our CO Exhibitions gallery throughout February 2020. Based on her painting Unconquerable, this piece is indicative of much of Murphy's work: Proudly sharing the stories of women overcoming difficult and even life-threatening obstacles and growing into giants.
This print is based on a gouache painting and was scrutinizingly broken down into a 22 layer separation, then lovingly built back up one super bright color at a time. We're incredibly proud of the work that went into this piece!
