Joanne Chow Winship "Third Generation" print
The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. During a recent visit to Minneapolis, Wes Winship's mother, Joanne Chow Winship, spent some time in the Burlesque studio to produce this gorgeous art print based on her own photograph of her very own orchids. She has truly captured the transparency and delicacy of these plants.
Each print is signed and hand-stamped by the artist with one of two personal stone seals carved in Shanghai, China in 1981. A seal is evidence of the provenance of the artwork (One seal is carved by renown calligrapher, Cai Tienshi who had also made seals for former leaders of China, President Jiang Zemin and Chairman Deng Xiaoping).
