During the peak of I.C.E's presence in the Twin Cities, we printed and distributed over 20,000 I.C.E. OUT OF MINNEAPOLIS posters, based on our city's classic Snow Emergency sign. We handed these out for free by going to protests ourselves, dropping them at local businesses and having a volunteer network delivering them to every corner of the metro.
We had tons of out-of-town folks asking how they could get one shipped to them but we didn’t have the bandwidth to deal with all the potential mail order while getting the prints into our community. Now that things have cooled off a bit (though let’s be real, ICE is still here in MN and every other state in this country) we’re in the position to send these little nuggets of protest history out past the Twin Cities to those that would like them.
And remember - It’s still Fuck ICE and we still demand justice for Renee Good, Alex Pretti and all stolen lives.
We printed one special run, signed and numbered by the artists Wes Winship and Mike Davis, available on 100# cover white paper. There are also a few very rær, shimmery and extra rainbowy prints on foil paper.
A portion of proceeds from the sale of these prints will be donated to CANDO (Central Area Neighborhood Development Organization). CANDO is a nonprofit located in and working for the community of South Minneapolis. They’ve been highly involved in responding to the ICE surge and the fallout, helping both individuals and local small businesses.
The missions of Cando are:
- Anti-racist Organizing
- Food Liberation
- Environmental Justice
