About
This blog belongs to Burlesque of North America. We are a graphic design and screenprinting studio based in Northeast Minneapolis, MN. Since 2003, we have created numerous screenprinted concert posters and album packages, t-shirt and logo designs, skateboard designs and more.
In 2006 we opened up First Amendment Arts, a gallery in the front room of our studio, dedicated to showcasing paintings and printed work created by our talented friends from all across the globe as well as work we have created ourselves. In 2008 we started our own record label called BRLSQOTHEQUE, an outlet for our musical interests. We have released a 12″ single featuring dance remixes from Dave Nada, Bird Peterson, and Burlesque’s own Mike the 2600 King, as well as a 3CD collection of live performances from The Melvins. Both releases featured packaging which was designed, screenprinted, and assembled all by members of Burlesque.
Our client list includes: Arcade Fire, Rhymesayers, The Melvins, Upper Playground, Nike 6.0, Volcom, Adidas, Santa Cruz Skateboards, Stones Throw Records, Mass Appeal Magazine, JANE Magazine, Complex Magazine.
